On April 17th, Wise Owl Bookstore at 624 Penn Avenue in West Reading will
host author, K. M. Walton, for an evening of literary readings and
discussion.

Kate Walton is the author of the YA contemporary novel Cracked from Simon and
Shuster that debuted in January of 2012. She also is the co-author of TEACHING
NUMERACY: 9 Critical Habits to Ignite Mathematical Thinking As a former middle-
school language-arts teacher and teaching coach, she is passionate about education
and ending peer bullying.

With new and used books available at reasonable prices, Wise Owl Bookstore
features local authors as well as best sellers.

Local writers are invited to bring work and read as well.
